On South Cape San Blas, Florida, the beach is the whole point. Follow the wooden boardwalk through the dunes and you are on the sand, with a long stretch of Gulf shoreline and rarely a crowd. The back of the house faces the Gulf and the front faces the bay, so one home gives you both views. Back at the house, the private pool and covered hot tub sit on the ground level, with two hanging bed swings, a ping-pong table and cornhole close by.
Inside, an elevator runs from ground level to all three floors, so grandparents, strollers and coolers move easily. The kitchen has two refrigerators, two dishwashers, a wine cooler and an ice machine, and the dining table seats ten with bar seating for eleven more. Four Gulf-view king suites give the grown-ups their own balconies, and two bay-view bunk rooms at the front of the house keep the kids and cousins together. Port St. Joe is an easy drive for groceries and dinner out.

What time is check-in and checkout at Tortuga Shores?
Check-in is at 4:00 PM and checkout is at 10:00 AM. Self check-in uses a unique door code, sent once your rental agreement, photo ID and other booking items are complete, and the code changes after every stay.
Is Tortuga Shores dog friendly?
Yes. Up to two dogs are welcome with a $250 pet fee per dog, per stay, and they must be listed on the reservation. Please keep dogs off furniture and beds and crate them when left alone. Larger dogs are considered case by case.
What is the minimum stay at Tortuga Shores?
The minimum stay is two nights. The primary renter must be 25 or older and present for the whole stay, and the home sleeps up to 24 guests. Parties, events and third-party bookings are not permitted.
Is the pool at Tortuga Shores heated?
Pool heating is available year-round for $100 per night, purchased for the entire stay, with a target of about 80°F, weather permitting. The hot tub is included with every stay, and the pool is serviced on Mondays and Fridays.
